Hey all. Just a reminder tomorrow is our non-league match against Annie Wright. The JV match starts at 5:30 and Varsity follows afterward. We will not have bus transportation. All JV players need to be at Annie Wright no later than 4:30pm, ready to warm up.

Hey all. Sorry for this short notice, but John and I are attending a Funeral on Tuesday (9/15) at 2pm and need to make the following changes to our volleyball schedule:

1. Tuesday’s (9/15) Practice for Varsity & JV will be cancelled.  As far as I know, Rachel will still run a C-team practice, but please look out for any emails from her regarding any changes to the C-Team schedule.

2. Given that Varsity & JV will not practice on Tuesday, we are moving the “Scoring Clinic” that was scheduled today to Friday (9/18) at 3pm. Parents, if you changed your work schedule to try to attend this – then I apologize for this.  We feel it is better for our players to get a regular practice in today as opposed to missing (2) straight days of practice time especially after having the weekend off. Please know, that Parents are still welcomed to attend the Friday session if you are still interested in volunteering at some point in the season to be a scorekeeper or even if you are just interested in how to score.

Hi All. Thanks again for attending the parent meeting last night. We appreciate you taking time out of your schedule to be there. I’ve made the following updates to our team calendar. I’ve taken off the Kent Classic Tournament – Varsity will not be participating in that one; I’ve added the Mt. Rainier game on 9/17; and I’ve added the scoring clinic that we will conduct on Monday 9/14 at 3pm during our normal practice time. The clinic is for “All” teams and will be held in a classroom in the main school building. This is mainly for the players, but any parents that are interested and available to make that time are welcome to sit in. One last thing, we still are not sure about JV’s status to play in the Kitsap Tournament on 9/19, I’ll post as soon as we know for sure, for now it’s still “tentative”.

Hey all,

Parent Meeting will be this Thursday at 5:30pm it’s mandatory for each player to have at least one parent there. We will hold the meeting in the auditorium. Generally the meeting lasts about 45 minutes.

Wednesday we have our first match at Eatonville. The bus will leave the school at 3:45. All players need to be at the normal meeting place by the Tiger by 3:15. Please note this match is only Varsity and JV.

Hey All.  Overall a very good performance by our JV team at the Junior Varsity Jamboree at Emerald Ridge High School on Saturday.  We finished 3-3 which is very respectable against some quality schools in our area.  At times we showed a little of our inexperience, but also showed signs of a much improved team.  I think the experience will go a long way in helping us become a solid volleyball team this coming season.  Nice job girls!

Due to a misunderstanding we have a published schedule in the Tiger News. Please note and I will be sending an email to all email addresses I have. Here is what our tryout times we be for August 24th and August 25th. I am sorry for all the confusion. – Coach John

August 24th 9:00am to Noon and 2 pm to 4:30
August 25th 5pm to 8 pm

Below is our tryout and fall practice schedule. Things to remember!!
You must have a
1) Valid physical,
2) ASB card
3) Grade check by AD department.
4) YOU CAN’T PRACTICE UNTIL ALL THREE HAVE BEEN CLEARED BY AD CATALINICH.
Schedule:
Tryouts begin August 24th. Be on the court at 2pm.
Dates and times:
Day 1: August 24th 2pm – 6pm… will break for 30 minutes at 4pm (Day 1 Tryouts)
Day 2: August 25th 2pm – 5:30pm will break for 30 minutes at 4pm (Day 2 Tryouts)
Day 2: August 25th 6pm will announce teams and cuts
Day 3: August 26th 2pm – 6pm… will break for 30 minutes at 4 (Team Workouts)
Day 4: August 27th 2pm – 6pm… will break for 30 minutes at 4 (Team Workouts)
Day 5: August 28th 3pm – 5pm (Team Workouts)
Day 6: August 29th Saturday 11am – 1pm (Skill Workouts)
Day 7 August 31st 2:30 – 5:30 (Team Workouts)
Day 8 September 1st 2:30 – 5:30 (Team Workouts)
Day 9 September 2nd First Day of School 2:30 – 5:15 Varsity – JV and C-team times might be slight diff.
Day 10 September 3rd 2:30 – 5:15

The rest of the practices time will follow the pattern of September 3rd.
